I am a parent of three young kids and the owner of a Muskoka Cottage Rental business. Over the past few years I have learned what to provide for a kids vacation.
My kids would wake up every morning during the summer and look out the window. They would see the other kids playing outside and ask me if they could go outside. I would feed them breakfast and then go outside.
We own a very small resort so the kids tend to hang out together and the parents also talk to each other. All the kids become friends with each other over the course of the week.
They play at the shallow sandy weed free beach all day. Can you imagine not having to worry about deep water. The beach is very shallow making it very safe for small kids.
The kids spend hours and hours in our large tree fort where you can bring colouring books and crayons and your kids can sit at the desk and draw and colour all day.
The playground has a small climbing wall, monkey bars, swings, baby swing, large slide, small slide and a hanging ball.
We provide sand toys at the beach for the kids to enjoy while on their holiday.
Our Muskoka Cottage Rentals also provide you with free pedal boats, free canoes, free aluminum row fishing boat and free evening campfire wood.
Your kids can enjoy their cottage vacation with Mom and Dad on the water in one of our boats. You can also rent a motor boat and take your kids fishing.
Kids love to spend quality time with Mom and Dad and fishing is a great way to do that.
Our lakefront vacation spot also offers swimming rafts and a water trampoline for the older kids that know how to swim.
We have the creek that is amazing to walk through with the whole family, the evening campfire, hiking trails loads of other nearby attractions to enjoy.
